A Guided Approach Change:

Get Hired in Months, Not Years!

  • Are you an aspiring artist, feeling lost and undervalued, stuck chasing poorly paid commissions?

  • Does your art technique feel on par with professionals, yet you can't understand why major video game companies and movie studios reject you constantly?

  • Did you graduate from art school then realize what you have been taught isn't getting you a job or helping you pay back your student loans?

  • Or are you already working in a small company but you are frustrated feeling that you should get in a bigger and more prestigious studio?

You Might Think You Are Just Not Good Enough To Be Hired...

You Might Feel Lost, Unsure Of How To Navigate The Complex Application Process...

But what if...it had little to do with your technique, but rather the content of your portfolio...

Its ability, or lack thereof, to target companies efficiently...

And what it tells them about you.

Your portfolio is the single most important element to get hired, and just fancy pictures as seen in the trending feeds of Artstation and Instagram is NOT the way to go.

Your portfolio needs to show professional, production-ready work...
not pictures just to collect likes on social media.

And production work is rarely shown on art platforms...

Your technique is probably not the problem...

The real problem is : your portfolio doesn't show you understand what companies expect from you as a professional.

What you need to develop is a strong understanding of the requirements a company in the industry is expecting its employees to meet.

This understanding, once applied to your work and displayed in your portfolio, will transform you immediately into THE IDEAL CANDIDATE who "gets it". And companies love hiring people who "get it".

What if a pro was holding your hand

to craft the perfect portfolio,

master the entire application process,
and get hired?

To Target Any Company You Want, For Any Artistic Job, And Crush Every Step Of The Hiring Process.

Getting hired in the AAA Industry might appear as pure luck or as happening only for the most rock stars of artists...

WRONG !

Let me confess something.

In 2015, as an art school student, I wasn't the teacher's favorite at all. I was the lone maverick in class, dabbling with 3D and Photobashing - concepts far from the mainstream back then. My relentless pursuit of projects for AAA Realistic style, ignoring the school curriculum, earned me plenty of discouragement from teachers.

They told me I had no future
They told me I could never get a job without the skills they had
They told me to get a job as a 3D artist instead of Concept Art
They told me I should quit...

So... naturally
I dropped out from school...

and got rid of all my academic work...

Absolutely no teacher was believing in me except for one.

This teacher saved me

He was using the same process I was trying to learn and he was understanding my plans towards the AAA Industry.

He was kind enough to help me building my portfolio and he adjusted my approach to create better targeted work. A revelation that changed my course forever.

I stuck to a realistic environment design process with modern techniques...
worked on a portfolio targeted at Ubisoft...

and...

Just six months post-dropout, while my former classmates were still in class, I landed a job at Ubisoft.

TAKE THAT, SCHOOL !!!

In 2017, after several workshops done at different schools, I kept noticing the same problem over and over again : students were oblivious to what to produce and put in their portfolio to get a job. They were idealistic and naive about the business side of art. They were building portfolios the school wanted them to make, or were letting them do whatever they wanted without considering if their projects were industry-friendly... all so that the schools could use it as advertising for them. They did not have their student's best interests at heart...

We talked more about the whole process of crafting the perfect portfolio, the skills to do so and what the hiring process is really like. All the students who listened and did the work found jobs over and over again.

Over the past three years, I've been piecing together this course just for you. It's not all about the art, it's about the business side of the job. And trust me, I'll be right there with you, guiding you on how to spice up your portfolio and sail smoothly through your application process.

All of this comes from more than seven years of work and six years of teaching experience. And you know what? Dozens of students have already kick-started their careers with this course.

So, are you ready to be next?

The Secret : understanding how to become the ideal candidate

If you've been in the game for a while, this might seem like a no-brainer. But there's a sea of artists out there, hustling hard online, taking on underpaid gigs, and thinking that's just how the life of a professional artist goes. And, let me tell you, the surge in folks looking for mentors just confirms it.

See, the thing is, there's this whole other side to being an artist – a big chunk, like half, of what we do that's not about creating art at all. And for a lot of people, that's still a big, puzzling unknown.

This tried-and-true strategy didn't just score me my first gig. It's been the formula to a flourishing 7-year run in the industry. This formula helped me climb that career ladder, get my hands on some dream projects like Warhammer, Dungeons and Dragons, and Lord of the Rings, teach in prestigious and very good art schools, and even bagged me an Art Director role. And now that I'm all set in my career, I'm not stressing about where the next job will come from. For years now, it's been the clients who've been knocking on my door, not the other way around.

Immediately after This Mentorship:

  • We'll set you on the fast track to reach your career goals and land a job in the AAA industry in no time flat. Don't sweat, if you're not sure where to apply first, we've got that covered right off the bat in Chapter 1.

  • You'll also get a bulletproof action plan that will spell out precisely what steps you need to take every week to make some serious headway in your professional journey - and exactly how to make it happen.

  • You will understand EXACTLY what companies expect from their applicants, regardless of which company and job you are aiming for.

  • You will be able to craft the perfect portfolio in 3 months or less, get hired fast, and recieve feedback during the entirety of the portfolio crafting process

  • You will recieve guidance during your application process

  • You'll become a master at every stage of the hiring process. Interviews? Piece of cake. Plus, you'll be able to negotiate a salary that puts you on the path to financial independence and stability. No more money worries for you!

And just imagine, as you keep using this game-changing strategy over the long haul...

  • You'll be smashing through goals left and right, climbing the career ladder straight to your ultimate dream job.

  • With the right tools in your arsenal, hitting all your new professional milestones will feel like a breeze.

And finally, you can wave goodbye to the days of being that struggling artist, hustling for pennies on commission pages.

Those days are officially in your rearview mirror.

Guiding Aspiring Artists to hatch into Established Professionals

When it comes to hiring, companies prioritize candidates who align with their needs and can swiftly become valuable assets, minimizing their investment in terms of training time.

But when we start as artists, we tend to overlook the business aspect of the job and focus only on improving our technique. Our portfolio looks like a collection of tutorials, it doesn't work and this can be incredibly frustrating especially if we know our technique is as good as people already working.

Once you realize you can efficiently target your work towards a set of big studios by understanding how they think and what they are looking for, and differentiate yourself positively from the vast majority of other applicants, lightbulbs start to explode and the motivating light at the end of the tunnel finally appears.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still benefit from the Mentorship if I'm still a student, if I need to level up my skills, or if I'm not close to professional technique yet?

Absolutely !

Our Mentorship program is not limited to "almost-pro" artists or digital art school graduates. The strategies, tips, and insights you will gain can be applied regardless of your current skill level, and could actually fast-track your development by pointing you to the right direction.

Keep in mind that when you apply, acceptance indicates our confidence in your readiness for this intensive program and your potential to secure a job in a reasonable timeframe.

If you're not initially accepted but are still eager to participate, acknowledging the significant effort needed and that immediate job placement isn't guaranteed, you can appeal the decision. We would then engage in a further discussion to determine if this program would indeed be beneficial for you in the medium to long term.

How much time per week does the Mentorship require me to invest for the homework and then to craft my portfolio?

If you want to really do it properly, the course assumes you have at least 6 to 12 hours per week to devote to watching the videos and doing your homework.

Of course, the more you can work, the better, and it is absolutely crucial that you do the homework every week.

Nothing in the homework is hard to do however and the bonus documents and resources should also save you a lot of time and headache !

Regarding the Group Sessions, each of them takes around 3 hours. And we are having 2 sessions per week for 5 weeks.

What language is the mentorship conducted in?

The mentorship is conducted in English, seasoned with a hint of Baguette accent, as I'm French. As long as you have a decent grasp of English, you'll be just fine. For added assistance, we provide text transcripts for the video course.

Which platforms will be used for the Group Sessions and Communication during the Mentorship?

Discord and a few Emails !

Will the group sessions be recorded?

Yes !
You will be granted a link to the replays as soon as they are uploaded online.

What happens if I can't attend the mentorship due to unforeseen circumstances?

We understand that unexpected events occur. If you happen to miss a session, don't worry, you can watch the replay and we'll make time during the next session for you to catch up. In the event of multiple absences, we'll work together to devise a suitable catch-up plan, provided this benefit is not exploited.

How much time will I need to craft my portfolio?

It took most of our past mentees and students an average of 3 months to redo their portfolio from scratch while most of them were having a full/part time job on the side to pay their bills. They were working on their portfolio during the evening and week-end.

Of course, the more time you can allocate on it, the faster it will be. Our fastest mentee got his portfolio 100% done in 5 weeks !

Is this an art technique course? Does the course cover art techniques?

This mentorship is primarily focused on equipping you with the professional aspect of the job, not just the art techniques. However, in Week 2, we'll discuss in depth the art techniques and tools you need to develop. During Week 4 and 5, you'll receive feedback and paintovers on a test piece, a crucial step in preparing for your full portfolio.

My job is niche and/or I work in 3D/VFX, and I know you are a concept artist. Is the mentorship suitable for different styles or non-AAA work? Can it help me even if I'm not a concept artist?

Absolutely !

The mentorship is style and job-independent. I've had successful experience art directing and teaching across various styles and topics, even those outside my usual focus. The essential skills you need are grounded in art and design fundamentals, which can be applied universally.

The only thing might be to adapt your portfolio to a medium more suited for your activity like a demo reel for 3D Animation or VFX, but 100% of the principles taught in the mentorship are applicable to any artistic job in the industry and can be transposed super easily !

What if my dream job doesn't hire juniors?

This happens quite frequently as our dream jobs often are very high end companies that hire only seniors.

While there might always be some exceptions to that rule, it is crucial to accept that as part of our artistic journey, it is part of the process to find some companies hiring juniors, start there and keep working on our professional journey by applying the same framework explained in the mentorship. Exactly as you did for that first job, you apply the framework again for the next job, then the next one, then eventually your dream job.

Again, it is all about perseverance and doing the work to become the perfect candidate for that company, and this is exactly what this course is about.

What Softwares and Material do I need?

The same softwares that you currently use, and while doing your research during week two you might discover additional softwares to learn to close the gap between you and the pros of the companies you are aiming at, but this will vary for every student.

For Material all you need is your usual creative gear, an internet connection, a functioning microphone/headset, and if possible a webcam.

What if I don't have a network?

By being together with other students, you will first network with them and also benefit from their individual networks. Also, being in the industry since 2016, I have my own network and should be able to direct you towards certain professionals if you need it.

Would I benefit from the mentorship if I'm already working in a small studio but want to join a more prestigious one?

Totally ! And actually around half of our past mentees were already working their first or second job in small studios.

It's very likely that you have accomplished part of what is mentioned in the mentorship without ever deeply thinking about it and understanding how it works universally, or else the studio you are part of was more flexible on their requirements than the AAA industry.

The mentorship is there to get you out of your comfort zone and allow you to move forward by understanding how to aim for the next step in your career, whether you're just starting in art or already have a few years of experience behind you. Additionally, the mentorship will likely help you increase your rates.

Why You in particular and not a rock star in the industry?

Because I've been successfully applying this formula with students for over 7 years

Because I went from art school dropout to AAA Concept Artist to Art Director using this exact process, all of that while actually not being a massively popular artist in the industry or with hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram.

Because we provide results and are willing to put guarantees on the mentorship.

And because very little to no other mentorship online is solely focused on that other 50% of the artist's job and providing that much content about it.

I am stuck in a country where there is little to no company, can I still succeed?

In this case, the course/mentorship is perfect for you because you will need to strongly target a company that wants you enough to either relocate you or let you work remotely.

Also, after the world changed massively with Covid, the industry realized that it can still function very well with remote work, and this allowed a lot more companies to hire people regardless of their location. Also it sparked the creation of a lot of remote outsourcing studios. These are massive advantages that you need to jump on.
